Fleet & Equipment Built for Freight
No inspection, no road-test clearance, no purchase. Every truck or semi-truck considered for acquisition must meet Waller & Company's documentation, condition, and mechanical standards before ownership approves it.
How Equipment Is Approved
Before ownership approves any purchase, the review covers vehicle history and title verification, an independent commercial inspection, diagnostic review when available, and a road test covering acceleration, transmission, steering, braking, tracking, operating temperature, and overall drivability.
Trucks run Geotab for pre-trip inspections and ELD-related operations, carry paper logs for required ELD-malfunction procedures, and are equipped with a spare drive tire.
Equipment Standards
These are Waller & Company acquisition standards; cargo-area features apply where relevant to the equipment. Individual vehicle specifications may vary.
Hino or Freightliner
Approved manufacturers for equipment acquisition.
10 Model Years Maximum
Unless ownership approves a documented exception.
250,000 Miles Maximum
At acquisition, unless ownership approves an exception.
Operational Liftgate
Required when the assigned freight calls for liftgate service.
Sound, Dry Cargo Box
Structurally sound, clean, and dry at inspection.
Air Ride & Barn Doors
Air-ride suspension preferred; swing-style rear doors strongly preferred.
Equipment & Technology We Run
These are equipment, technology, and service providers Waller & Company uses in daily operations. Their marks are shown to identify the tools we run, not as an endorsement or certification of our company.
